Notes: In nearly every vintage of the Samatha's Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes harvested in 11 separate picks throughout September. The vines grow upon red, andesitic core stone volcanics and lighter gravel/stoney overlay from Rudd alluvial fan and these grapes come from the lower part of said fan. The wine is aged in nearly 90% new French oak.
Aromatically the wine has nuances of cassis, blueberries, figs, damp earth, rosemary, and dried purple flowers. On the palate, the wine has a burst of vibrant minerality along with black fruits and sweet tannins.
