Composed for ageability, harmony, finesse and longevity, the Rudd Oakville Estate Red is the pinnacle of what the Oakville Estate produces in each vintage. The wine is aged in nearly 80% new French oak.
Aromatically the wine has notes of iron, plums, blackberries, dried herbs, and fine tobacco. On the palate, the wine is layered with extremely ripe black and blue fruits, with hints of menthol, and firm tannins.
