NOTES: “Rosa” is made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the volcanic soils of Gattinara, rich in porphyry, granite, limestone, quartzite, and other ancient formations dating back 280 million years. Historically, Nebbiolo grapes from cooler vintages were used for sparkling or rosé wines, but today, dedicated small vineyard parcels are cultivated specifically for this style. In the cellar, the wine is gently pressed and fermented in large cement tanks, then aged for several months on its finest lees. Each vintage is assessed for its unique balance of weight and grace, with aging time adjusted accordingly. The resulting rosato is a vibrant counterpoint to reds, offering freshness and elegance, with delicate floral aromas, crisp red fruit, and a mineral-driven finish that makes it especially appealing in warmer seasons.
