Notes: The Echezeaux Les Loachausses Grand Cru is a maiden release from a 0.38-hectare strip, previously part of the cuvee produced by Gros Frere & Soeur. The wine is matured in 100% new oak. The winemaking process results in a wine with a tightly wound nose that opens to reveal ebullient red berry fruit, Japanese yuzu, a hint of Seville orange marmalade, and sous-bois aromas. The palate is smooth and harmonious, quite plush in style with a toasty finish due to the oak.
