FOOD PAIRING:
Shellfish (lobster, scallops, prawns, and shrimp) are classic choices, especially when accompanied by a rich sauce: drawn butter or cream sauce. Poultry (chicken, quail, and turkey), white meat (veal and pork), fish (halibut, trout, salmon, and swordfish) and other meats (sweetbreads and rabbit). Pastas, risotto, and other starches (winter squash and polenta) provide a great textural backdrop for many Chardonnays.
WINE REVIEWS:
92 POINTS WINE SPECTATOR: "Deliciously complex, full-bodied and elegant, with a mix of lees, floral, citrus, green apple, honeydew melon and subtle vanilla-butterscotch notes that expand, ending with a long, lingering finish enlivened by crisp acidity."
